Being an Eco Mama can be hard particularly when you're living in a State of Poop, but we have you covered with our Reusable Bamboo Diaper Inserts.
Did you know the average baby uses 1,500-1,800 diapers in just one year which can cost over $600 but by using reusable diapers and our bamboo inserts, your baby will not only be comfy and dry but you'll be saving money AND the environment at the same time.
Why State of Baby loves them:
Silky soft and highly breathable as well as being naturally anti-bacterial
Extremely absorbent - with 4 layers of bamboo, it will take moisture away from the body 3 to 4 times faster than cotton. Plus, absorbency actually increases with each wash until they reach peak absorbency
Easy to wash – just pop them in the washing machine or soak them
Great to use as a night time booster
One size fits all
Invest now and save money later
Eco-friendly - bamboo is considered to be the most sustainable eco fabric for diaper inserts currently on the market.
Preparing your Bamboo Inserts:
We recommend pre-washing your bamboo inserts in order to rid of its natural oils and increase absorbency. Wash in hot water 3 to 4 times prior to use (do not exceed 120 degrees). Only a small amount of detergent is needed in the first and second wash and then no need for detergent for the last few washes.
Bamboo inserts will reach peak absorbency after approximately 8 to 10 washes so your baby may need to be changed more regularly at the start.
Night time use:
As your baby grows and changes so too will their absorbency needs. For night time protection or heavy wetters, we recommend boosting absorbency by adding an extra bamboo insert. That's eight layers of protection!
Alternatively you may prefer a different combination using one of our Resuable Microfiber Inserts instead. Being three layers they are a thinner option whilst maintaining a super absorbent rating. Microfiber also dries quicker so they are perfect for winter or humid summers.
